In 2010 the Hemophilia Foundation of Nevada (HFNV) will be hosting its 10th Annual Art Kane Memorial Golf Tournament. This special day will include shotgun start, lunch, awards, raffle prizes and auction.  Proceeds will benefit the many programs supported by the Hemophilia Foundation of Nevada (HFNV) which is a non-profit consumer advocacy organization for people with bleeding disorders in the state of Nevada.

If you are not familiar with this Annual Charitable Event, all proceeds raised by HFNV are used to provide a wide range of services to Nevada families affected by rare, inherited bleeding disorders for which there is no cure.  For example, one event especially cherished by the children we serve is the annual Camp Independence Summer Camp which is held every July at The Torino Foundation - Torino Ranch Camp in Las Vegas.  For a few days each summer, kids with bleeding disorders can forget about their life-threatening disorder and have fun with other kids experiencing the same issues and limitations and do it in a medically supervised, safe environment.  Our kids end up making friendship that can last a lifetime.  Proceeds raised from our Annual Art Kane Memorial Golf Tournament help ensure that we don’t have to turn away ANY of these special kids due to a shortage of funds. It also allows us to continue to provide additional services to Nevada’s bleeding disorders community.
