- The New Year brought the Foundation's Board of Directors together for it's first Strategic Planning Conference in January. The board is continuing to work on finalizing the plan. This will help the Foundation structure committees to focus on specific areas to strengthen the organization.

- HFNV is communicating with our National Foundation (NHF) to evaluate possibilities for a more supportive environment on a national level.

- HFNV Board of Directors welcomed two new Board Members at the March Board of Directors meeting: Alison Bartko & Paulette Shimabukuro. These two board members have been active community members who also bring business & fundraising experience to the organization.

- HFNV Board of Directors welcomed a new Executive Assistant to the staff: Anne McGuire. Anne will be working part-time in the Rancho office.
